It’s prime brunch season! I went back into the City Cast Boise podcast archives for a conversation about brunch with “The Latino Card” hosts Antonio Hernandez and JJ Saldaña.

They’ve got some tips, but first, a little inspiration for chefs.

Antonio said: “The best is yet to come with Boise brunch. We’re early. The scene for Boise brunch — from what I’ve seen — is fairly new, so I think folks are starting to think about how they can have good brunch menus.”

Best Aesthetics

Best Classic Diners

Best Brunch Drinks

Martinis at Fork

Mimosa trees at Blue Bench Brunchette

“Insomniac” at Bardenay

Must-Try Menu Items

Spicy Benny at Bardenay or Goldy’s

Frittata at Red Feather

Anything at Amano, but especially the spiced coffee and lavender tres leches

Recommendations aside, Antonio and JJ are brunch fans because of the laughter and the food. What about you — where are your favorite brunch spots or menu items in the Boise area?
