City Cast Boise’s coffee conversation got me thinking about donuts. I asked y’all what you thought, and I asked Twitter and Instagram as well. The results are in!The most voted for is DK Donuts on State Street, followed by Guru, Country, and Pastry Perfection.

“The Cambodian Donut tradition is alive and well in the Treasure Valley. While there are several Khmer shops here, I would be remiss to not celebrate DK Donuts as my de facto neighborhood donut place. It has everything I should ever want—a chocolate bar, some donut holes, a jalapeño kolache, and hot coffee.

"Spare me the fancy donuts, the abysmal things bakers are always doing to cake donuts, the donuts that you need to open a line of credit to purchase a dozen of, and give me the good, reliable, Cambodian donut.”

Word for word, I have to agree with Jackie.

Thanks for participating! What do y’all want to weigh in on next? Best tacos, if we dare? Best hikes within fifteen minutes of Boise? I’m all ears!
