Patrons of Lost Grove Brewing hang out at a trivia event.

Lost Grove is just one of the many breweries around town with weekly trivia nights. (@lost_grove_brew / Instagram)

Let’s plan your next trivia night out on the town. Here are some recommendations on r/Boise for the best places to play trivia in groups (and I think all of these are free!). I’m also going to advocate that we spread some of these events out, so they’re not almost all on Wednesday.

Tuesday: The Ironwood Bar and Grill in Garden City has a weekly trivia night on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.

Wednesday: The middle of the week is a popular one for quiz night! Clairvoyant Brewing in the West End has your Wednesday nights covered, at 7 p.m. (but show up early, everyone says). Front Door also has Wednesday trivia at 7 p.m., and so does Woodland Empire, also at 7 p.m. Barbarian hosts weekly at their downtown taproom at 6 p.m., and wrapping up the Wednesday marathon is Humpin’ Hannah’s, who also changes the theme weekly. At 8 p.m.

Thursday: Lost Grove seems to be a fan fave, with weekly gatherings on Thursdays (Thursday, March 23 is canceled, though).

Spacebar Arcade used to have trivia, but I don’t know yet if they’ll bring it back when they open — which should be soon!

And it turns out there’s a site called Game Night Live that compiles events based on your location. If you’ve got a trivia friend out of town, send it their way — they might have events in their area!

If I missed some trivia spots, where are your favorites?
