A majority of Idaho’s lands are publicly owned in some way, and Idahoans want to keep it that way. A new survey paid for by Conservation Voters for Idaho found that a whopping 96% of Idaho voters think “public lands should remain in public hands,” a slogan being used nationwide to rally opposition to federal attempts to sell public lands.
