🥘 Taste of Persia

There’s a new restaurant on the very short list of places where Boiseans can eat Afghan food. Husband and wife Hafiz and Bahija Karim opened The Taste of Persia last week, and hope to use it as a community space for their fellow Afghan-Americans and introduce their culture to others. Taste of Persia is at 10386 West Ustick Road, and open Tuesday - Sunday, 12 - 9 p.m.

New 🍦on the Way?

According to BoiseDev, Soft Landing Ice Cream Shop is coming to a former auto body shop at 1220 West State Street, across 13th Street from DK Donuts. The location was most recently the home of Bloom’s Flower Studio. The business is in the permits stage, and no opening date is known yet.

Don’t Forget the Market 🎃

Just a reminder that there are only two weekends left of outdoor farmers market season!

🍂 An Ideal Fall Evening

Enjoy the best of fall in Boise with a trip to the Basque Block. Grab a friend, don a fall jacket or coat for a patio if you’re up for a chill, and order some chorizo and croquetas (or even just a beer and some fries). It’s the perfect way to slow down, reconnect with the city we love, and enjoy the season.
