Mark your calendars, we’re going to the festival!
🗓️ May 31 - June 1
Get in line early for this 42nd annual festival at the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. The team behind this Boise favorite works weeks in advance to pull it off, and you can tell by the food!
🗓️ June 1
The environmental nonprofit Idaho Rivers United throws this festival annually at the Green Acres Food Truck with live music, food trucks, and oh so much beer.
🗓️ June 12 - 15
There are cherries at most grocery stores right now, but for a totally different taste and texture, get some fresh ones (along with your favorite fair foods) in mid-June. Plus, there’s music, fair rides, and fair food.
🗓️ June 15
The Warehouse Food Hall and Treefort Music Hall are hosting the biggest block party of the summer. It’s free entry, with lots of live music.
🗓️ July 26 - 28
One of the peaks of Boise summer, this Basque festival honors St. Ignatius of Loyola, the Basque patron saint. It’s a full last weekend of July, with handball, dancing, and FOOD.
🗓️ August 9 - 11
Complete with a 5K and a parade, Donnelly’s annual celebration of the huckleberry is worth checking out.
🗓️ August 10
This is another of Boise’s bests at Julia Davis Park, with an abundance of soul food and music. It’s only the third year back at Julia Davis after years away from the downtown park.
✡️ Idaho’s Jewish Festival
🗓️ September 1
BoiseDev reported in January that the former Deli Days, which has been on hiatus since 2017, will return with a new name this year. The festival will showcase Idaho’s Jewish history, art, dancing, food, music, and more at Congregation Ahavath Beth Israel.
