The City Cast Boise podcast crew may have missed one important thing in our May guide: between graduation, Mother’s Day, and Memorial Day, May is the beginning of brunch season. Or at least brunch begins to adjust for summer, with fresher ingredients and patios — because it’s always brunch season in this house.
I went back into the City Cast Boise podcast archives for a conversation about brunch with “The Latino Card” hosts Antonio Hernandez and the dearly missed JJ Saldaña.
They had some tips, but first, a little inspiration for chefs.
Antonio said: “The best is yet to come with Boise brunch. We’re early. The scene for Boise brunch — from what I’ve seen — is fairly new, so I think folks are starting to think about how they can have good brunch menus.”
