We’ve already covered the holiday markets you should shop at, but December has a bad habit of getting busier than you expect, quickly. So if you can’t make the markets or just haven’t done your shopping yet, here are some local stores you should visit — and you’ll be supporting local businesses at the same time.
🛍️ Holiday Markets & Local Shops
Edwards Greenhouse doesn’t shut down for the winter — it’s transformed into the Holiday Shop through Christmas Eve.
While you might not think of a farmers market for a place to get gifts, the Boise Farmers Market’s Indoor Winter Market has gift-eligible foods, goods, and drinks. It’s at the Dick Eardley Senior Center this Saturday and the 30th, but it's at the Shrine Social Club on Dec. 21.
Check out Lost Grove’s Christmas Market on Dec. 21.
Idaho Made, located in Old Boise, is similar to an artist collective, and a direct way to support local makers.
