A bunch of you correctly guessed last week’s “Where Is It?” which was Idaho Made in Old Boise. I still want to learn more about Old Boise, but Idaho Made is a well-known spot for locally made gifts (Valentine’s Day included!), jewelry, and home decor.
But the best part about Idaho Made is that it runs as a sort of artist’s collective, with dozens of artists and makers renting out space in store and also staffing the desk — so if you go in to talk to someone, chances are they’re selling some of their stuff as well.

Everything sold here is made by an Idaho artist. (Blake Hunter / City Cast Boise)
So if you’re looking for gifts or places to find something handmade locally, Idaho Made is open seven days a week, and shares the building with several other local businesses worth visiting, including James Beard award semifinalist Ansots.
