The proud City Cast Boise crew! (City Cast Boise)

City Cast Boise is the proud winner of Best Podcast in Boise Weekly’s annual Best of Boise awards. To share the love, we want to show off a few of the other winners who have been featured on City Cast Boise and in the Hey Boise newsletter.

Best Concert Venue: Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Gardens, which is a must-do activity every summer, especially as a kick-off to the season.

Best Tourist Attraction: None other than the Greenbelt, which is featured in approximately every other City Cast Boise podcast episode.

Best Happy Hour: Boise Weekly voters and I agreed that Barbacoa deserved the honor once again for its daily BOGO. Barbacoa also took home first place in “dining experience.”

Best Caldwell Restaurant: We called it Caldwell’s “crown jewel” restaurant, so it’s no surprise that the winner is Amano!

Best Frozen Treat: The STIL took this one, and while it has plenty of competition, we love it for its bountiful options, locations, and boozy flavors.

Best Indian Food: Meridianite and City Cast Boise podcast host Lindsay Van Allen won with this one! It’s Red Fort Cuisine of India, which is a pretty new addition to the local restaurant scene but well deserving of the award.

Best Grocery Store: Back in City Cast Boise’s early days, we heaped our love on WinCo — because it’s never failed us.

Best Bookstore: It’s in a new location, but it’s a classic for a reason: Rediscovered is always ago-to!
